Agios Georgios

A beautiful and quite big beach, Agios Georgios is in the Northwestern edge of Folegandros. There are a few old houses that people used to stay in the past and some other buildings that were used for their boats in the winter time.
The beach is sandy and partly with pebbles, while some trees will offer their shade in the first visitors. 

There are two ways of access.
One is the steep dirt road that starts from the end of Ano Meria village and preferably you need a jeep to drive there and the other is the paved narrow road for walking lovers which starts a few meters before the end of Ano Meria (there is a sign).
